My name is Melissa Mancuso. I'm a 25 year old freelance graphic and web designer in Central New Jersey, USA. I started computer graphics in 1999, first as a hobby, then as a profession. The first time I used Adobe Photoshop was in my Photography class during my senior year in High School. Before that, I used Jasc Paint Shop Pro. After high school, I went to a county college to obtain an associates degree in New Media Technology, where I was introduced to the Macromedia Suite; I also recieved a certification in web development. I recently graduated from the Graphic Design and Animation program at the Chubb Institute in North Brunswick, New Jersey to put finishing touches on my knowledge. There, I learned more advanced aspects of the Adobe and Macromedia Suites, as well as 3D animation in Discreet 3D Studio Max.
I am now contracted part-time as a Web Production Specialist at Local Wisdom, Inc. in Somerset, New Jersey. Through them, I am currently consulting on-site at Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick as one of the content managers for jnj.com. I also do freelance work through BlueWater Marketing in Metuchen as well as other misc projects obtained through word-of-mouth or the Chubb graduate offices.
